Hippo's singing and sunset on the Nile
Hippo’s anyone. I go to sleep listening to them sing at night, and sometimes they even wake me up.

The kids wish they could hear what that sounds like. We'll have to check around online and see if we can find some hippos singing so we know what your lullabyes sound like!
Okay, we too wanted to know what hippos sound like. We searched on the internet and found a few places with clips we could listen to. This page was our favorite as it had the most. We'll share it so anyone else who's curious can listen, too. http://www.partnersinrhyme.com/soundfx/animals/Safari.shtml We decided that Debbie has a very positive outlook because Mykenzie and Jacob thought the hippos sounded more like they were snoring or passing gas than singing!
